1. Place the cursor in the cell whose orientation you want changed.
   
   
   
   
2. Right-click, click Text Direction. Click the orientation you want used for your text. 

• Horizontal

How to change text orientation in a table cell


1. Place the cursor in the cell whose orientation you want to be changed. 

2. Switch to the Table tab.



3. Tap Text Direction. (if you already have an inserted text which orientation you want to change, select it).



4. From the bottom sheet, tap the orientation you want for your text. 



5. Start typing.

Optionally, go to the Home tab to apply additional formatting to your text.

Change text direction in a table cell on iOS

You can change the text to be vertical instead of horizontal.

1. Place the cursor in the cell whose orientation you want changed.
   
   
2. On the Table tab, tap Text Direction. Tap the orientation you want used for your text.
   
   
   • Horizontal
     
     
   • Rotate all text 90 degrees
     
     
   • Rotate all text 270 degrees
3. Start typing. 
   Optionally, go to the Home tab to apply additional formatting to your text.
