Fill & Sign tab on Windows
The Fill and Sign menu allows you to include identifiable information such as signatures, dates, checkmarks and more to the document.
|Sign– Allows you to insert a digital signature to the document. This is done via the Add Signature option. From there your three options for including signatures are Draw (draw your signature using the mouse cursor), Type (type out your name or signature using one of three fonts), Image (insert an image with your signature).|
|Add Date– Insert the current date in the document.|
|Free Text– Add a text box over the document.|
|Free Draw– Create a free markup over the PDF.|
|Add X– Add an X mark over the document.|
|Add Check Mark– Add a check mark over the document.|
Sign tab on Android
The Sign tab allows you to change document security, visualize and validate digital signatures, as well as certify, sign, or time-stamp the document.
|Quick Sign – The Quick Sign tool is used to add virtual signatures to a PDF. Note that this is not equivalent to adding a digital signature. To add a digital signature, use the Sign tool.|
|Date – Lets you add the date as floating text on top of the PDF file. Note that this is not equivalent to adding a timestamp. To add a timestamp, use the Timestamp tool.|
|Free Text – The Free Text tool allows you to add free-floating text to a PDF. When used a popup menu will display that allows the following additional options:|
|Free Draw – Lets you draw custom line figures, which can appear over text and other document elements. Freehand draw pens can be customized from the Freehand Draw tab that appears when using the tool.|
|Certify – Allows you to add a digital certification to a PDF, in order to validate its authenticity.|
|Sign – The Sign tool lets you add a digital signature to a PDF.|
|Timestamp – Adding a timestamp allows you certify that you have viewed the PDF at a given time.|
|Profiles – Displays a list of predefined values for timestamps, certifications, and signatures that are saved as profiles. Profiles are useful as you do not have to repeatedly enter credentials multiple times.|
Sign tab on iOS
The Sign tab allows you to add a virtual signature, as well as add date, free text, and free draw annotations. Each contains a variety of additional options such as color and thickness that let you modify the color and size of the markups even after you have placed them.
Note that the markups in the Sign tab are not equivalent to certifiable digital signatures and timestamps.
|Quick Sign – The Quick Sign tool is used to add virtual signatures to a PDF. Simply select Add Signature from the resulting window, create your signature, and place it in the PDF.|

|Free Text – Add free that rests on top of the PDF file.|
|Free Draw – Lets you draw custom line figures, which can appear over text and other document elements. Free draw pens can be customized from the Free Draw tab that appears when using the tool.|
