Insert or delete cells, rows, columns in Sheets Windows
Insert or delete a cell:
- Select any cell. On the Home tab, select Insert.
- Tap Shift Cells down and Shift Cells right, or tap Delete Shift cells up and Shift cells left.
Insert or delete a row:
- Select any cell within the row. On the Home tab,
- Select Insert, Insert Rows or Delete Rows.
Insert or delete a column:
- Select any cell within the column. On the Home tab,
- Select Insert > Insert Columns or Delete Columns.
